Meet
I had a unique Air Force career that made me into the leader I am today. I applied for and got accepted to the U.S. Air Force Academy after learning about it just months before the application deadline because my good friend said that we should apply together. He didn't (thanks Stephen)! I then nearly declined my appointment after visiting for orientation and have bad experiences with cadets who I didn't feel were living up to my ideals.
Before graduation, I turned down my Pilot slot because I desired a more hands-on and immediate leadership experience that I thought Aircraft Maintenance could (and did) provide. After 7 years in maintenance, I was accepted into pilot training, just to be medically disqualified before I was able to earn my wings and was resettled into the Acquisitions (Program Management) career field.
Throughout my career, I learned many difficult leadership lessons, often from poor leaders that caused undue hardships on myself and my teams. I started mentoring others in the Air Force to ensure fewer people would have to endure the same kind of treatment in the future.

I now reside in Washington Township, OH (just outside of Dayton) with my wife and two amazing kids. In my full-time job, I help small companies and startups earn government contracts to further our defense innovations. However, I greatly miss the direct, hands-on, down-and-dirty leadership and mentoring I got to do the Air Force that helped me lead multiple teams to Air Force level (worldwide) awards.
I look forward to helping you reach your leadership and management goals!
